Steven Hartman is a self-taught collage artist who lives four subway stops from Coney Island.

As co-editor of Pinched Nerves Press and Make Room For Dada, he began making collages for the covers of poetry chapbooks and small press zines. His collages have appeared in Found Street, Taproot Review, Luna and other publications and on the CD - The Unbearables Portfolio III.

His work has been exhibited at ABC No Rio, Hilton Bloom Gallery, 440 Gallery, Atelier Herenplaats (Holland) and Bright Hill Center's Word and Image Gallery.
